Prequel to My Humongous Catchup...

I know I know...SLACK I hear you all utter under your breath...unless your Ka...shes not afraid to tell me how it is...hahaha! I wont even mention work or grandma's in hospital...and Wah wah wah...but just quietly...they have needed alot of my time...loads of overtime on offer at work, and with the Pixar exhibition in Melbourne only like 8 weeks away how could I resist!!!! But it hasn't just been all work and no play...nope nope...so I won't forget to mention the good stuff too...like 3D!!!!!!!!! Whoot Whoot!

Since my cough...last post...cough cough...it has been rather hectic...mostly due to the complexity and work load involved in our 3D CGI project...but boy what awesome fun. We, the FARMERGEDDONERS - Chris D and Leon and myself delved quick and deeply into the makings of FARMERGEDDON: The Invasion has begun...duh duh duh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Watch out!

This project which spurred the corny magical idea of FARMERGEDDON would have to be the most bestest project ever. And the otherFARMERGEDDONERS had awesome fun, plenty of laughs (and a few tears in the end) in creating FARMERGEDDON. I think we all had a really good taste with FARMERGEDDON of what concept designing would entail...Leon was the master when it came to concept designing going nuts and in a week had all this awesome designing stuff. His genious spurred me to want to do some awesome stuff like this...but...it was not so awesome...:( its so true that you should just keep drawing. My characters and stuff always look so naive...not solid or professional as opposed to say someon elike Ka or Damiens work... However i was really happy with my character design...and so were the dudes so we're going with somethign like her...We ended up calling her Bailey and her sidekick is called Fudge.

One big thingI realised when designing concept stuff for this game project is sometimes its not that so great to just go gun hoe into designing every cool idea that comes to mind. You see we were restricted to the amount of polygons etc that we could use...so you had to always keep this in mind, but in saying that...it made you think out side of the square and there fore come up with different sort of designs that I know I would normally do.

You can check out all our concept art and game progress here at the FARMERGEDDON blogsite...enjoy!
